David is Executive Vice President of Oak Creek Energy and President of Oak Creek de Mexico focusing on project asset implementation, management and operations. He is a 30 year veteran of the wind power business, who was most recently an executive at Sterling Energy Management providing independent consulting across the wind industry for operational reviews, transactional due diligence and management team reviews.
Previously David was Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Infigen Energy LLC responsible for 1,700MW of wind power generation at 18 projects including wind turbine technology from GE, Siemens, MHI, Vestas and Gamesa. Previous to Infigen, he was a Director at Babcock & Brown where he assembled and oversaw their wind asset management business unit.
He has also been the President of three different service companies for SeaWest Services and a Project Manager for Garrad Hassan, overseeing and monitoring wind project operations and performing wind project operations and maintenance reviews of proposed projects. As a senior executive with Terranova Energy he established the management, operations, maintenance and administration group for 400 MW of wind projects located in Spain. Concurrently, he established a successful Wind SCADA System business which was later sold to a leading SCADA provider and became the basis of their industry leading SCADA enterprise platform.
His long term experience in the wind industry, primarily focused on project implementation and operations, provides a real understanding of the costs of operating wind plants over their lifecycle.
